Evidence-based psychological therapy in Liverpool and online for children, young people and adults

The Liverpool Psychology Clinic

The Liverpool Psychology Clinic offers thoughtful, evidence based psychological therapy and support to children, young people, and adults. Our hopes are to provide a welcoming and supportive space where you can feel safe to talk, reflect and begin to make sense of your experiences.

Delivered by Clinical Psychologists, our work is grounded in care and collaboration. We aim to take time to understand you as an individual and to shape therapy around your needs and values. We work alongside individuals and their families, and when helpful, with the wider systems around them, such as schools and community settings. We aim to offer psychology that is empowering, accessible, and centred on what matters most to you.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel understood and supported at the moments they need it most.

The Liverpool Psychology Clinic Services

Individual Therapy for Children & Young People

We provide evidence-based psychological support for children and young people, shaped around their individual strengths, needs, and experiences.

Our work is grounded in well-established psychological approaches and informed by the best available research. We recognise that children do not exist in isolation, and we actively consider the wider systems around them, including family, school, and other professionals involved in their care. Where helpful, we work collaboratively with parents, education settings, and other mental health teams to ensure joined-up, consistent support.

Our aim is to create safe, accessible, and meaningful interventions that help children and young people feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Individual Therapy for Adults

We offer evidence-based psychological support for adults that is practical, compassionate, and focused on what feels most important to them.

Our work draws on well-established psychological theory and research, while placing equal value on each person’s strengths, resources, and lived experience.

We work collaboratively to explore what is already helping, identify achievable goals, and build on existing skills and coping strategies.

Our aim is to provide accessible, thoughtful psychology that helps people move forward in ways that feel manageable and sustainable.

Consultation & Training

We provide consultation and training that is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in evidence-based psychological practice.

Our work supports individuals, teams, and organisations to think more clearly about complexity, build confidence, and develop practical responses to real-world challenges.

Consultation offers a space to reflect, problem-solve, and draw on existing knowledge and resources, while training is designed to be engaging, accessible, and relevant to everyday practice.

Informed by current research and clinical experience, our aim is to support thoughtful decision-making, strengthen skills, and promote effective, compassionate work across a range of settings.
